GB from UK ready to soak up lessons like a sponge
Yo all at HHP!!
I've been using FL studio since about version 4 but never properly just as a hobby and now iv got the time to shine my beats seem quite flat and amateur i seem to have lost my mojo a bit..............my fingers can't keep up with my ears..............
Iv also messed with reason got cubase sx but am here to get help into beefing out my basslines and drum loops........
I've been writing lyrics and poetry for about 10 years and ready to take it to the next level any help greatly recieved

Hey nice to meet ya! I'm from the UK too, and also use Fruity Loops. Like Calvin said when listening to beats try to pick it apart. If you find it hard then stick a beat on repeat and spend your first listen hearing the drum pattern, hear the kicks, the snares, hi hats.. all that. Then have another listen for the melody, etc. That helped me when I was starting out, hope it helps you! =) Another thing, if you're feeling a bit of a mental block check youtube for random tutorials. I find watching other people make beats gives me a fresh perspective sometimes, you're always learning.. and I'm always rambling.. haha. Catch ya later!
