how to make dre strings
how do u make those heavy string lines like dr. dre does. im using fl studio and ive tried layering a couple strings but it doesnt sound right. im very limited on packs, i only got wat it came with. does anyone know how to make those strings or where i can get them for free?

I use some Specific soundfonts and/or hypersonic, to make that. But you should know, that Dre uses a Syntheziser (or more of them^^).
Synthezisers have got more Power than your Software instruments!

you gotta quantize your strings i'm pretty sure the demo of fl studio comes with "channel presets" near the top of the browser use like accordions or brass and don't just snap everything to grid play with offseting notes on the chords

what strings are you talking about? could you provide an example from one of his songs? do you mean strings like from mary j blige's "family affair"?

you gotta use chords and quantization...make the bottom key in the chord the standard velocity and on the grid, the middle key and the top key a lower velocity and a millimeter or so off the grid this will give it the dre feel.

You have to have 10 points in order to download a dre drum kit.

The strings in logic are pretty nice. Sampling them from old classical stuff works pretty well too. Sample them then put them through some effects does the trick.
