How to silence other sounds from sample slice, for ex, if u just want the violin from it..? is it possible?

It's all about your EQ...

If youve got a high sound turn the bass out and you won't hear it anymore.

This was just an Example.

It's hard to do it perfectly because there are a lot of sounds also in the frequency range of the violin, but any elimination of other frequencies will definitely help.

Okey, which program should be used to do this? Can you do it straight from Audacity. I would prefer a ready sound when i get import it to reason, cuz there its gonna get complicated Very Happy

I usually just run the sample from my computer, through an outboard mixer into my MPC. Then just eq it with the mixer. However, if you are working with just a DAW, I'd just use any audio editing program. Pull up your sample, pull up a vst eq and then adjust your eq till it sounds the way you want it to.
