It's good, but he had better albums...he's still rapping but I think he's pretty old, he can't do something new, he's keeping his style,that's all...for him(it's my opinion) he better produce another musicians...

With an exception for Kanye West's Graduation I think American Gangster is the best album of 2007 the third best is the Finding Forever album by Common real mature hiphop not commercial crap like 50 Cent's Curtis album!

i think american gangster is potentially a classic , i give a 10 most of the songs on the album are timeless ,what makes jay different from so many cats is that he's consistent. jay all day
