I've just started producing, so I only got FL Studio 7 Producer Edition and a Samson CO1U USB Condense mic with a pop filter.

That's essentially what I got but Fl Studio XXL Edition and a shure sm57 mic. I need a way to make my beats sound like they are not confined in a tight space...ya know?

what do you mean by tight space. do you mean the instrumentals and beats or do you mean you wanna work your mic better so your recordings don't sound confined to a tight space?

yeah, garageband is great for a start and learning, but not for doing anything serious
