 New producer

i've only been producing 4 about a month and still don't know what a preset or soundfont is...can anyone tell me wat they are?

Im in the same boat as you meaning making beats for the last 4 months. Here go to Tweakheadz.com and read the guide, When your done reading trust me you will know more then you did in the last 4 months. But it's a long guide be warned IT'S LONG.
I also go to ILLMUSIC.COM they help out a lot. Hope this helped you out.
