honestly i donīt know this program, but all in all you can say that all sequencer apllicantions are pretty much the same.
if you havenīt start up with producing you should start with fl or cubase, they are very popular... so you can find much tutorials in the interenet...

if u wanna to be a real producer,you should start with FL or cubase.they have the best technique for producing sounds,instrumentals.I use FL 8 ,and im very happy with this program.i`d like to recommand it to you.

This may be a bit late, but it doesn't matter that much on which application you use, it just depends if you can use it or not. Fl Studio is user friendly so its easy to understand and quick to get started up on. You don't even need equipment for it. Hopefull you got Fl studio for yourself, if not, that's okay.

Fruity Loops is an awesome tool to start learning off of. It really does a good job of giving you a basic knowledge of producing. Once I conquered Fruity Loops I was able to easily transition to other programs. I believe there is a demo you should check it out.

FL is ok i think if you just started that Sony Acid Pro 5, 6, or 7 would be the best choice..
