Sample chopping on the computer
i'm currently using Reason and Recycle to chop up my samples and lay them out on a track.
i was wondering tho whether this is the best way to do it. does anyone here use any other software or techniques for working with samples on the computer?

I'm using Adobe Audition to chop up samples. Is it in your opinion easier to do this with ReCycle?

if you use adobe audition to chop, then what do you use to lay them down on the tracks?
i think reason and recycle are one of the best software combinations i've seen for doing this. recycle lets you open up a sample, and slice it up at your specified markers. then when you load this into reason, there's a device similar to the pads on an MPC, where you can hit them and they will play those samples.

I use Acid Pro and Sound Forge for sampling. They work real nice for what Im working with. I like Guitar Pro for its chord diagram too.
