I've gotten to a point of producing when my inspiration is 0,my samples and instruments is,well,enough for decent beats,and my will to make some good beats is 10000000000000000000000000. But I simply cannot make anything that sounds like hip hop. Does anyone know how do I get inspired to make beats again? All I know is,the problem is in the composing. I've practiced my mastering,got like a million more sounds and I've written the music theory to the ROM in my brain. If anyone knows a solution to this,please help me.

You can't make beats, if you havn't got an idea. And you can't have an idea, when you are sitting infront of your keyboard, and hit the Keys like an idiot. You got to sit back for a while. I just had the same problem, and i stoped making beats for a week, and yesterday, i made two beats at one day^^.

You must let the beat come to you.

Mr P speaks the truth. When you've got no idea's left you'd better lean back for a while. Another good advice is to listen to music and get inspired. And try listening to some other music than only hip hop. for example; Classic music or Rock/Metal.

AND START HUMING DIFFERENT RIFS OR BANG IT OUT ON THE TABLE AND THEN DO THE SAME THIN ON THE KEYBOARD


MAYBE EVEN DO THE BITING THING.. DOWNLOAD ANOTHER ARTIST PROJECT FILE TO YOUR SOFTWARE ,, AND EXAMINE THE TECHNIQUES
