What do you use for bass??

Personally I use the following VSTi's: Novation Bass-Station, Spectrasonics Trilogy, and the free NWBass 1.1.

A future project for me though is to start sampling my own basses from records, and low-pass'ing them to pull out some more bass from the sample.....

What do yall use for bass?

matt12345678910: Not a bad idea, I've heard of it before. I would imagine it works, though I personally have no use for it myself...

open the channel your bass is in, then in the top right corner send it to a mixer channel of your choice, then open the mixer, go to that channel, and open up the effect "fruity fast LP" or "fruity filter" or any other filter you want to use

I like the NWBass 1.1

Can get some very nice bass sounds. I also like the built in bass on FL 8. Go to

Packs > Basses > Bass_EFEM_C2

I use Massive, which is best for more house-based music, but still gets the job done. It has a nice Snoop bassline that is pretty dirty. I also use some of the bass sounds in Logic, but am still lacking the proper hip hop sounding basslines that I am looking for.
