What is your method for chopping samples?

Like the topic says: What is your method for chopping samples?

Personally, I use FL Studio 7's Edison sampler combined with the FL Slicer. I open the sample in Edison, set my chop points, and drag it to the FL Slicer. Works everytime. I still have problems with doing a good bassline though Sad

What about you??

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Could you explain yourself more clearly? Maybe it's just because English isn't my native language Smile

But I just set my chop points in Edison. You know how to do that, right? Then I mark the section of the wave that I have chopped, and I drag it (with Edison's drag-button all the way to the right) into the FL Slicer.

Then I get the slices in FL Slicer that I had made in Edison.

But like i said, I probably didn't understand your question correctly Smile

Chopping

I usually use ReCycle, but sometimes will just use Traktor to trigger different parts of the track just like chopping it up. That way I can scratch it up a little bit too.
