I think Edison (included in Fruity Loops 7) is the easiest way of chopping any kind of sample basically.
But if you don't have Fruity Loops 7, I recommend Propellarhead ReCycle 2.1. It supports the infamous REX2-files that are very compatible with Propellarhead Reason, but they also work in FL Studio.

Beatmakazz on samplin
Edison in FL is deff. sweet. Especially to go along with FL Slicer. I also use those 2 and along with that cool edit pro 2.0 for other purposes.

I use audacity which is free, easy to use, and makes your samples sound better _________________ Hip Hop saved my life

I also think that Edison is a good tool to use on any FL Studio program. I
now have the demo version of FL Studio 8.5 Beta on my computer as we
speak.

To the people saying ReCycle, I might be wrong, but isn't it pretty much good for drum loops and drum loops only?
