WHY NONE OF Y'ALL BITCHES GOT BALLS TO DO A BEAT BATTLE?
Man,y'all thinkin' you producers, but you too afraid to put up some of your work against another producer. Don't be actin' like you a bigshot when you ain't even sure enough in your shit to put it up in a battle. Much props to Mr. P,you're a real producer, and not like these other fake ass niggas that tryin' to be someone on this forum but got nothing to show off against someone else. Man,y'all should just delete your accounts, open FL,Reason or whatever and try to construct a god damn drum pattern. Not to mention a bassline or a melody. Hit me up right on this topic, and set your rules,if you got skills to show off. Any day,any time, any rule, anything. And what's with the g funk battle? Y'all too busy listening the beats over and over so you can't vote? C'mon, even y'all that vote can get 5 points just for pointing out the stuff that made you decide to vote for the beat that you voted. Let's see who's a producer on here. PS don't wanna battle a moderator cuz I'm sure y'all got skills. _________________

Two things:
1) Perhaps it's too early in the history of this forum to be making beat battles already. The user base is not nearly stable enough.
2) I want to vote on your battle, but it's a mess. I couldn't find a voting poll or anything. Am I just supposed to reply in your post and explain my vote? _________________ Gear: HP Pavilion dv6000, Akai MPC1000, M-Audio Audiophile, M-Audio Trigger Finger, M-Audio KeyRig 49, FL Studio 8.

Yeah, it's better if we just do it with the replies. Polls aren't effective because you can't track who voted. Someone could just create multiple accounts and vote for themselves. Also, it doesn't allow for explanations.

yeah, you can still do multiple accounts with the post system, but it takes a lot more effort since you need to write stuff. Also since most people are after the points, this wouldn't be practical since you can't transfer points from one account to another.
The post vs poll system is just to prevent disputes. A poll is just a number, whereas a vote in a post has evidence and backing to explain the decision.
