Two things:

1) Perhaps it's too early in the history of this forum to be making beat battles already. The user base is not nearly stable enough.

2) I want to vote on your battle, but it's a mess. I couldn't find a voting poll or anything. Am I just supposed to reply in your post and explain my vote?

Yeah, it's better if we just do it with the replies. Polls aren't effective because you can't track who voted. Someone could just create multiple accounts and vote for themselves. Also, it doesn't allow for explanations.

That's exactly what I had in mind. If anyone ever votes on some of these topics they would probably do it for the points and polls aren't effective if they want that. And I kinda feel better if I know who gave a vote,no matter to who it is. But shouldn't multiple accounts thing be the same if you reply with a post? More accounts,more replies or more poll answers.

yeah, you can still do multiple accounts with the post system, but it takes a lot more effort since you need to write stuff. Also since most people are after the points, this wouldn't be practical since you can't transfer points from one account to another.

The post vs poll system is just to prevent disputes. A poll is just a number, whereas a vote in a post has evidence and backing to explain the decision.

I see what you mean,and you're totally right,but post or poll,no one is still voting on those two battles Mr. P and I had. It's really taking forever. PS Me and Mr. P were doing some colaboration on beat making and we should put up a beat pretty soon. Peace.
