* * * * 3 votes
There are several clips on Youtube of people playing Still Dre by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre on the piano. People keep commenting that they want the notes for the song. Well, hiphop-producer.com brings you the notes both in music literate and non-music literate notation. Above is the Youtube video by haze206 we’re referencing.Piano sheet music notation for the music literate

Piano roll notation for the non-music literate
Hope this helps!

the notes are wrong… it’s (goin form bottom to top notes):
C# F A# (11 time)
C F A# (3 times)
C E A (5 times)
i think u’ll realise i’m right, and that it is rare to see these notes played on youtube.
peace to yall

The first chord is most definitely not C# F A#. Playing it 11 times also does not add up, as a measure only has eight 8th notes. The last chord also cannot be C F A because that is a major chord, which produces too light and too happy of a sound. Dre almost never uses major chords, especially in his older tracks, because they don’t produce that west coast banger sound.
The correct chord progression is:
A minor
E sus4
E minor

i’m sorry but both of you are incorrect. serg is the closest to being right. his first two chord transitions are correct, however the fifth of his third chord is a half step sharp. the final chord should be ‘c’ ‘f’ ‘a sharp’… play along with the song and you will find me to be correct
