    Yo Rob D, just a quick shout-out!
Your schedule looks brutal man… but keep up the hard work.
I’d like to see a basic tutorial on making simple beat loops, if that would be possible,
I’ve only used Fruity Loops and Audacity before, but what are some of the better
    sound-editing tools.
    Thanks bro

    you can check out:
    http://hiphop-producer.com/how-to-make-a-simple-hip-hop-drum-beat/

which will show you how to chop up drums and create a simple beat in fruity loops.

I would say Fruity Loops is one the best software tools for creating beats. Reason is also good and there is a big debate over Reason vs. Fruity, but I think it’s just a matter of taste and preference, whatever you feel more comfortable and knowledgeable with.

In terms of sound editing software, Adobe Audition is one of the best out there for recording, mixing, and mastering.

    Hope this helps.
